Whanau Groups - The Arts

We had three mornings in our whanau groups learning about performing arts. We made music, designed costumes, acted out stories and made shadow puppets.
Here are some pictures of our activities.

Zebong

Today the story teller came to our school. I liked the story when Mr Stuart said "if you tell me how to get rid of the snake, I will take you on a date."

Zebong is a storyteller. He told us lots of stories. My favourite story is when Pacey had to get the magic horse. I went in one of the stories. It was the one with a cake.

The storyteller read a story to us. I liked the first story. I liked it when William was in the story.

Using lines and designs.

New Paint!

Our classroom looks nice and fresh with the new paint. Our problem was the smell! We tried cutting up an onion and leaving it on a plate - still smelly! We tried leaving buckets of water out over night - a bit better but still smelly. We tried burning a scented candle - a bit better still. We hope the smell will go away soon.

Happy Holidays

It is holiday time again. During the holidays our classroom is being painted. When we come back it will be like a new room! Have a great holiday everyone.
