Krishan came second in the High Jump.

Our Assembly

On Friday it was our turn to host assembly. We made up a play about caterpillars turning into butterflies. We showed our art work. We read some of our "Who am I" questions and challenged the school with our fraction problems.

We had to get into the right order on a number line.

Jacob read his "guess who?" clues. Lots of people had a guess.

The butterflies ate nectar from the flowers.

Pack the Bus

Today pack the bus came. It was down tui block and Kiwi block. We were on FM and the Breeze. Santa was in the bus.

Today Pack the Bus came to our school. Room Three and all the classes down bottom block came up. They brought something up to put in the bus.

What Am I ?

A Stick Insect.

A  glow worm.

A cicada.

A snail.

A spider.

A ladybird.

A White Tail spider.

Swimming

We could float like a ball.

We learnt how to float by ourselves.

We practised our breathing.

We listened carefully to our swimming teacher.

Some people could do freestyle and backstroke and kick like a dolphin.

We could sit on the bottom for ages!

We had swimming races to pick the objects up from the bottom of the pool.

Animal Hunt

We searched in different habitats to find what lived there. We found some animals and took photos. We had to look carefully and by sneaky so the animals didn't go away.

Solomon took a photo of a bird singing in a tree.

This slater curled up into a little ball. It reminded us of a hedgehog.

We found a worm in the garden. We had to dig a little bit to get it.

This stick insect only had five legs when we found it. We wonder if it can grow a new leg.

Anna was at school. She was looking for insects too!

The  bee liked the yellow flowers best. It is getting nectar.

We had to wait for the butterfly to land. It was flying from flower to flower.

Habitats

We found out that habitats are special places where animals like to live. We had a look around our school and found some habitats that small creatures might like. We took some photos. We made sure we held the camera still and used the close up focus. If your look closely at our photos you will see we found some animals as well.

The General Lee motorbike

Today we made a General lee motorbike. We put tail lights,front lights and 01. We put a plate number on. I said to Braden " make a map were it goes. Fast" but someone came and busted it. We are going to find them. We are angry, we are getting them and we are going to ask "why did you bust our car"!

We brainstormed and recorded our ideas about what we think "Circles of Life" means. Here are our ideas.

Fractional Numbers

We are learning about fractional numbers. We are making and naming fractions. We needed to make a pizza and cut it into 1/2 and into 1/4.

The new Sunny roof

On Wednesday we made a  new Sunny roof.  It had a sun roof. It had 8 nitro boosters.  It was hard to make. 1. We had to make the body. 2. We had to put the wheels on it. It kind of looked like a van . 3.  We put the windows then we put the roof and we put the radiator then we put the engine. 4.
