The new Sunny roof

On Wednesday we made a  new Sunny roof.  It had a sun roof. It had 8 nitro boosters.  It was hard to make. 1. We had to make the body. 2. We had to put the wheels on it. It kind of looked like a van . 3.  We put the windows then we put the roof and we put the radiator then we put the engine. 4. Kapa Haka

  Havana and Tayla went to the Michael Fowler Centre last night. There was 1007 kids there. We were in the Kapa Haka Group. It was fun and exciting.

Backly the Bad Bear

We watched The Birthday Burglar and we read Beaten By a Balloon and the Jamie wrote this story. How many "b" words did she use?

Once upon a time there lived a bear called Backly. He was a bad bear but he was brave. Backly stole stuff from the bank. He had bad behaviour! He lived on a brown bank with his bus and his bee. His bee was called Ben, and another bee called Benjimen. Benjimen was brave like Backly, but Ben was weak like a bun. Backly decided he couldn't stay with them so Ben went back to his room and packed his bag. He was glum.
Backly and Benjimen were lonely without Ben so they went out to find him. They couldn't find Ben anywhere. They looked in every bee hive. They even found his brother, but not him.
Backly found a bird on duck shooting day. The bird was called Bean. Bean was bored of being a messenger bird. Backly took him home in a box.

At discovery Shannen and me made a electicity bolt. We had to put the wire in the right place. I got a shock from the electricity. It was hard. We put a buzzer on it and we used 4 batteries together.  It was really really really really bright. It was fun to make. It took the whole of  discovery to make it.
